(It's not what you think.) This is the blog of Alex Tung. At the age of 28, I was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in my prostate. I am still fighting the disease. Please leave comments and feel free to share this blog with others if you think it will be helpful to them. Sadly, on March 24, 2010 Alex Tung passed away. Since then his blog has been updated by his friends and family who continue to keep his story alive.

Chance run-ins
I ran into two people from my class (college) today, just randomly at the gym. One guy was working in Mt. View, and the other was back on campus for med school. How strange that people keep leaving and coming back to Stanford, and I'm still there. Not such a bad life I suppose, but at some point one does tend to want to see something else, to go somewhere else. I definitely flip flop about whether I really want to get out of here and whether I want to hang out a little longer. There's always something new to do at Stanford, but the scope of life here feels so limited ... I suppose I can always come back, eh? Gotta get out...
